Dryden Man Accused of Sexual Abuse Against Child

A Tompkins county man is accused of sexually abusing a child.

New York State Police say 35-year-old Troy Teeter of Dryden was arrested earlier this month following an investigation into claims he had inappropriately touched a child under the age of 11 sometime between the years of 2014 and 2017 in the Town of Harford.

The authorities say Teeter and the child know each other.

Teeter is charged with felony sexual abuse and was sent to the Cortland County Jail while and order of protection was issued for the child.
