Authorities say 25-year-old Ryan Morse of Dryden was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief following the incident.

Investigators say Morse was arrested around 6 p.m. on Wednesday after troopers were called to check out a possible disturbance on Hanshaw Road in the town of Dryden.

A UPS driver told police Morse damaged his truck by intentionally striking it with a wrench.

Troopers found Morse near the scene. He was ordered to appear in Dryden town court on November 13.

Police did not indicate what may have triggered the reported disturbance.
