The Brooklyn Nets have managed to put their injury ravaged re-start into the post season.

New York’s hopeful is the seventh seed going into the NBA playoff bubble in Orlando and they have done it without key players Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan, and Spencer Dinwiddie.

Kevin Durant has made it clear he will sit out the rest of the season, as he recovers from surgery that repaired a ruptured Achilles tendon.

The Brooklyn Nets road to the postseason as the seventh seed in the eastern Conference will start with a match up against the number two seed NBA champion Toronto Raptors.

So how will the team match up against Kyle Lowry, Marc Gasol, and the Raptors, who are still showing signs of their playoff run to the championship last year.

I would like to be optimistic with this match up, but without their superstar lineup, the Nets are facing almost guaranteed elimination.

Maybe a perfect storm scenario, which might include a shooting slump, or injuries to the Champs, Net faithful can hope for a similar match up, but even if the inevitable happens, the all-star lineup for the next season should make Brooklyn a formattable foe in the Eastern Conference.

Best of luck to our Brooklyn Nets going into the post season bubble and beyond.
