The New York Knicks maybe looking for one more piece during the Free Agent Honeymoon phase, but players are making deals but the window is closing, who is left?

The New York Knicks have made some really bad moves over the past twenty years, but with new management in the front office, and Tom Thibodeau, the NBA’s coach of the year last season, the team is getting some attention from other players in the league.

The Knicks have locked in some key players from last season including Julius Randle, RJ Barrett, Mitchell Robinson and rookies Immanuel Quickley and Obi Toppin.

And deals with Nerlens Noel, Derrick Rose, Alec Burks, and free agent Evan Fournier (who won't get to wear number 10 in New York)

The 2021 draft produced some young talent with Quentin Grimes, Miles McBride, and Jericho Simms.

The Knicks have used their cap space wisely and have room to sign another play maker, so who is left?

DeMar DeRozen has signed with the Chicago Bulls, Andre Drummond got a one year deal in Philadelphia, and Spencer Dinwiddie is almost a certainty in Washington this season.

Kawhi Leonard has declined a player option and we all know he’s staying with the Clippers.

Rumors are flying around the sports world about a possible Knicks deal with Reggie Jackson or Dennis Schroder, both of these players are looking for a short deal, the knicks could use either of these at the point.

How about Victor Oladipo, it would be a risk with the injuries that have plagued his career the all-star is only 29 and could have some good years left, or become an injured bench warmer.

How ever you dice it up, the New York Knicks need to have another play off year and maybe advance past the first round to send a message to the elite in the league that maybe its time to consider coming to New York to play.

I’m sure if there is a move to make, we will see it soon as the summer league has started and the season will come fast.

Go Knicks!
