The Brooklyn Nets were dealt another blow yesterday afternoon as Kyrie Irving left the game with a sprained right ankle, Milwaukee took down the Nets 107-96 tying the series at 2 apiece.

The Brooklyn Nets looked poised to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals and set their sights on an NBA Championship when they embarrassed the Bucks with a 125-86 blowout at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn last week putting the Nets up 2-0 in the series.

Kevin Durant had 32 points in that game, the Nets still had the tandem of KD and Kyrie, as James Harden sat on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Game three was a defensive battle with neither team reaching 90 points, but it looked like the Nets would bounce back from a poor shooting night and make a statement in game four.

The game was fairly even until Kyrie Irving landed on the foot of Giannis Antetokounmpo sending him to the sidelines after a few moments of laying on the court in grimacing pain.

Irving was spotted later on crutches and according to ESPN he will have an MRI today to find out the severity of the sprain, but it doesn’t look good and without James Harden, the Nets could easily fall in this series.

The Milwaukee Bucks took care of Kevin Durant, and in spite of 28 points and 13 boards, KD seemed to be forcing the action, turning the ball over and missing spots.

Giannis Antetokounmpo came up big with 34 points and the Bucks shooting was much better.

Game five is tomorrow night in Brooklyn and the big question can the Brooklyn Nets win this series with just one of the big three?

Kevin Durant will be up for the challenge, but many predict this series may end in six with the Bucks advancing the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Nets have played the majority of the season without the big three on the court at the same time, but this is the playoffs the best of the best, and if Milwaukee continues their offensive dominance, I don’t think the Nets will have enough to win this series.

I hope I’m wrong, Go Nets!
