The Beard Returns- Nets Defeat Bucks in Game 5
James Harden returned to the lineup last night, but it was Kevin Durant that carried the Brooklyn Nets to a 114-108 victory at the Barclay Center putting them up 3-2 in the eastern Conference Semi Finals.
Kyrie Irving is out and questionable to return at all, and James Harden was not expected to play last night, but surprised everyone with a game time decision to play.
The beard didn’t score a lot just five points and eight assists, he misses all 8 attempts behind the ark and seemed to be struggling, but it was enough to inspire his teammates, especially Kevin Durant who was on fire with a triple double, 49 points, 17 boards, and 10 assists.
Jeff Green was the unsung hero scoring 27 points including seven three-point shots, the Nets forward has been nursing and ankle injury.
Blake Griffin contributes 17 points also helped Brooklyn overcome a 17 point deficient.
KD played the entire game and was unstoppable at times.
Giannis Antetokounmpo had 34 points, and turned the ball over in the final second to seal the victory for Brooklyn.
This was probably the best game I have seen all season and its not over yet,
The teams will meet up in Milwaukee for game 6 tomorrow night, where the Nets have lost all four times this season.
Could there be a game seven? It is heading that way.
