When the Binghamton Mets hosted the Portland Sea Dogs May 27 with Dillon Gee pitching in a rehab start as he tries to work his way back to New York following a strained groin injury.

In spite of the big-league talent on the mound, the B-Mets were unable to recover from a deficit early on and fell 3-2 to the Sea Dogs.

It's not the first time Gee has taken the mound at NYSEG Stadium.  In 2008 he made four starts as a B-Met.  He went 2-0 with an ERA of 1.33.

Prior to his injury, Gee was 0-2 with New York.  In five games he compiled a 3.86 ERA.  Gee pitched May 21 in St. Lucie where he threw 93 pitches in 6.1 innings of work.  .  New York management has indicated that with Gee's return they will go with a six man rotation that includes Gee.
