Every year the PGA Champions Tour stops in Endicott for the Dick's Sporting Goods Open. Every year the event is held creates a huge boost for the local economy. It benefits the entire triple cities area.

The event helps hotels, restaurants, stores, and other local businesses. But it is also a huge fundraiser for local charities. Since professional golf started coming to En-Joie Golf Club in the early 70s, the event has raised more than 18 million dollars for Broome County Community Charities (BCCC). BCCC is made up of charities here in the Binghamton area.

This year, due to the circumstances caused by the Coronavirus, the Dick's Sporting Goods Open was canceled. Even though the event is not taking place this year, the Dick's Sporting Goods Open still wants to help support those local charities who need more help this year than ever before.
