Delaware Undersheriff is Named

Delaware County’s Sheriff-elect says he’s made his choice for his second in command.

Craig DuMond says he has selected Lieutenant Timothy Buckley to be Undersheriff.

Buckley graduated from Hancock Central School and the Monroe Community Collage Criminal Investigations School.

The Lieutenant began his law enforcement career with the Village of Hancock Police Department in 1996 and joined the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office as a School Resource Officer in 1998 before transferring to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office in 2000.
