Delaware County Men Accused in Child Porn Case
New York State Police say two Delaware County men are facing numerous felony counts following an investigation into child pornography.
41-year-old Jeremie Hoyt and 43-year-old Peleg Booth, both of Davenport, are accused of engaging in sexual acts with a child under the age of fifteen. Hoyt is also accused of possessing and promoting child pornography.
State Police say Hoyt is charged with felony counts of use of a child in a sexual performance, criminal sex act, promoting a sexual performance of a child and possessing a sexual performance of a child as well as misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.
Booth is charged with felony predatory sexual assault of a child less than 13 years of age.
State Police in Oneonta, members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and members of the Computer Crimes Unit searched a home on Mount Vista Drive in Davenport on April 28 after getting a tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.
Hoyt was sent to the Delaware County Jail on $50,000 bail. Booth was jailed without bail.
State Police say their investigating is on-going.
