Deadline Here to Apply to Take Binghamton Police Exam

The deadline to apply to take the Binghamton Police Officer exam is hours away.

The window to file an application to take the police exam closes at 4:45 p.m. July 31. For information on who qualifies and other details prospective candidates can call (607) 772-7089 or go online at www.joinbpd.com. You can also go to the City website: www.binghamton-ny.gov.

The competitive examination will be held Saturday morning, September 14 at the East Middle School.

The minimum salary is set at $45,073 per year.

There fee of $25 is required for each exam but the fee could be waived for certain applicants like current City of Binghamton employees. There is also consideration for those with military experience.  Contact the City for information.
