Cortland County Man Arrested for Shooting Porch
Cortland County Sheriff’s officials are accusing a Marathon resident of shooting a porch at an apartment house.
Deputies were called to the building on Mill Street in the Town of Marathon at 4:16 p.m. November 11 for a report of shots fired in the area.
Authorities say they learned 21-year-old Daniel Fox had fired a shot through a shared porch. There were no reports of injuries.
Fox is charged with felony tampering with physical evidence as well as misdemeanor discharging a firearm within 500-feet of a dwelling and reckless endangerment.
He was released following arraignment and ordered to appear in Town of Marathon Court next month.
