A Conklin man is accused of having methamphetamine and drug packaging materials in his Millburn Drive home and a business when they were raided by authorities on May 23.

Members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force say 29-year-old Gaurav Banwait is charged with three felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities say between Banwait’s home on Millburn Drive and a business on Conklin Road, they confiscated about 16 grams of methamphetamine, drug packaging material, digital scales and $1,553 in suspected drug sales proceeds.

Bainwait posted bail and is waiting for his next date in court.
