Chicken Tenders Dinners Raise Money for Special Olympics
Patrons of a regional restaurant chain have a chance to be in their own episode of “Law and Orders” as they place their dinner orders with local law enforcement officers to benefit Special Olympics New York.
The May 2 fundraiser at Tully’s restaurants, including the one on the Vestal Parkway, takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. The organizers have set a $10,000 dollar goal from sales of chicken tenders dinners to go to the special Olympics program in the region.
The event is a kick-off by law enforcement officers and Special Olympics Athletes for a month-long fund-raising effort.
Tully’s has 11 locations in New York State stretching from the flagship restaurants in the Syracuse area to Rochester, Watertown and Vestal and Batavia.
