
Car Rear-Ends Whitney Point School Bus
New York State Police report no serious injuries following a crash involving a car and a Whitney Point School bus September 29.

The collision was reported at 8:12 a.m. on Route 11 near route 26 when the car hit the bus from behind. There were 14 elementary school-aged children, a bus driver and monitor on the school bus. No one on the bus was hurt.
A child in the car was evaluated at the scene and the driver of the car was not injured.
This is the second crash involving a Whitney Point School District bus in a little over a week.
September 21, a bus left Pendell Hill Road and tipped into a ditch. The bus driver and monitor suffered minor injuries in that 7:40 a.m. crash and the one child on the bus was evaluated at the scene for a complaint of wrist pain.
