Candor Man Charged with DWI in Dryden
A Candor man is being charged with felony drunk driving after New York State Police say they responded to a crash in the Town of Dryden October 10 at 10:26 p.m.
Troopers say a car had left the roadway and hit mailboxes.
Authorities say they determined 47 year old Jonathan VanScoy had been intoxicated.
The drunk driving charge is a felony since, officials say, VanScoy had been convicted of a prior DWI within the last ten years. Investigators add VanScoy refused to submit to a breath test to determine his blood alcohol content.
He’s been ordered to appear in Town of Dryden Court later this month.
