Binghamton Bearcat senior forward Caleb Stewart is closing in on a career milestone. Stewart has scored 954 points in his college basketball career. After notching 14 points in Binghamton's game in Vermont on Saturday Stewart needs 46 more points to reach one thousand.

Stewart, a 6'9" forward from Schenectady, NY and Mekeel Christian Academy, is averaging 9.7 points per game. He leads the team in rebounds per game and blocked shots. With Thomas Bruce sidelined for the season he has been a primary force under the basket for the Bearcats. He is also hitting 38 percent of his three-point attempts.

Stewart started his collegiate career at Division II USC-Aiken in South Carolina then moved to St. Leo University near Tampa, Florida for one season. Last season with the Bearcats he averaged 3.1 points per game, made two starts and played in 25 games.
