Tonight will be an historic night in Baltimore as the UMBC Retrievers women's basketball team hosts the Binghamton Bearcats at their new 50 million dollar Events Center. It is the first women's game to be played in the new venue.  It was officially opened last weekend when the UMBC men played host to Vermont.

The Bearcats look to sweep the season series with a win tonight.  Last month in Vestal BU earned an 81-51 win over the Retrievers.  In the overall series the Bearcats hold 20-12 edge.  The Retrivers have won four straight against the Bearcats when playing on their Baltimore campus.

Binghanmton's leading scorer, Imani Watkins, is five points shy of scoring 2,000 career points and just 29 points shy of tying Binghamton University's all-time career mark of 2,024 points held by Bess Greenberg.

Coming into tonight's game the Bearcats are 7-4 in America East and 16-8 overall.  A win tonight would give Binghamton its sixth win in the last seven games and ties the team's third-highest total of victories in its Division I history.

Jonny Wincott calls tonight's action beginning at 6:45 on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM and online at 1360binghamton.com.
