The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team defeated the Albany Great Danes 58-42 Wednesday night at the Events Center.  The win snapped a 21-game losing streak versus Albany.  Binghamton had not won a game against Albany since February 20, 2011.

The wins ups the Bearcats America East record to 5-4 while Albany falls to 4-6.  Binghamton is fourth in America East while the Great Danes are tied for sixth place.  Overall BU is 16-6 while Albany drops to 8-15.

Kai Moon led the way again for the Bearcats with 23 points.  Karlee Krchnavi, the current America East Co-Player of the Week, scored nine points and grabbed four rebounds for BU.

With the win Binghamton is one game behind the fourth place Maine Black Bears who are 6-4.  The Bearcats can tie them when they travel to Maine this Sunday for a 1:00 PM game.  Airtime for the game on News Radio 1290 WNBF is 12:45 PM.
