Binghamton has upped its record to 5-3 while the Catamounts are 3-5.

The Bearcats are tied for third place in America East while Vermont is in sixth place.  The Catamounts have the edge in the series 21-13 but the Bearcats have won the last four in a row.  Binghamton is also looking for its eighth road win of the season.

In their last game the Catamounts fell 64-55 at Albany while Binghamton won a nail-biter defeating New Hampshire 54-52 on two free throws made by Imani Watkins.  Watkins is closing in on several milestones.  She needs four three-point baskets to tie Erica Carter's career mark of 224 treys.  Watkins is also closing in on the school's all-time scoring record held by Bess Greenberg  with 2024 points.  Watkins enters tonight's game with 1,936.
