The Binghamton Bearcats cruised to a 70-45 win over visiting Bloomsburg State University at the Events Center on Tuesday night.  Binghamton set the tone for the night with a 25-7 lead after the first quarter.  The Bearcats upped their lead to 39-13 at the conclusion of the first half.

Kai Moon scored 21 of Binghamton's points.  She is averaging 28.7 points per game.  Carly Boland hit for 16 points and Annie Ramil netted eight points and 10 rebounds for the Bearcats.  Boland went 4-7 from three-point range.

The Bearcats move to 3-0 while the Huskies played their first game of the season.  Next up for the Bearcats is a 2 PM game on Saturday at home against Niagara University.  It is part of a doubleheader at the Events Center.  The BU men host Sacred Heart after the women's game.  Both will be broadcast live on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  There will a tribute to Calistus Anyichie between games.  Anyichie died in a drowning tragedy in Ithaca this summer.
