The Binghamton  University women's soccer team has completed a successful non-conference schedule after shutting out LIU on Sunday 3-0.  That leaves the Bearcats with a slate of 6-1-3.  The Bearcats are unbeaten in their last five outings.  Binghamton is unbeaten on the road at 4-0-2 and the six victories equals the total for last year's entire season.
The Bearcats big early season start is being keyed by several players.  Two student-athletes at the top of the list are goalkeeper Katie Hatziyianis and forward Kayla Saager.  Hatziyianis has earned three consecutive shutouts.  Saager leads all America East goal scorers with seven.

Binghamton travels to Durham, New Hampshire to open America East competition on Sunday as they meet the Wildcats in an afternoon game.  The Bearcats return home on Sunday, October 1st when they host the Vermont Catamounts.
