The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team opens the home portion of their America East Conference schedule tonight (Wednesday) at 7:00 P.M. at the Events Center when they face the Stony Brook Seawolves.  Both are 1-1 in conference action.  The Seawolves had a tremendous non-conference schedule going 11-2 and come in to tonight's game at 12-3.

The Bearcats are coming off of a 71-62 road win at New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon and move their overall record to 6-9.  They got a 23 point performance from Carly Boland to key their road win in New Hampshire.  Rebecca Carmody also had a big game for the Bearcats with 18 points and eight rebounds.

Stony Brook is the top offensive team in the conference averaging 66.6 points per game.  The Seawolves lead the series 23-21.  The teams split their two-game series last season with each posting a road win.
