BU Women Host Hartford

The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team is home tonight to meet the Hartford Hawks at 7 PM (645 on News Radio 1290 WNBF) at the Events Center.  The teams are tied for fifth place in America East with records of 7-7.

On January 25 the Hawks went to double overtime and defeated Binghamton 76-73 at the Chase Family Arena in West Hartford.  This is the final home game of the regular season for the Bearcats.  They play at the University of Maine at 1 PM on Sunday to close out the regular campaign.

With the regular season winding down the New Hampshire Wildcats have cliched first place a record of 13-1.  There is a two-way tie for second place with Albany and UMBC deadlocked at 10-4.  Maine is next with an 8-7 slate followed by BU and Hartford at 7-7.

The America East Quarter- Final and Semi-Final playoff rounds are set for next weekend in Portland, Maine.  The two survivors meet on March 10 at the home of the higher remaining seed.
