BU Women Host Black Bears

The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team hosts the Maine Black Bears at 2 PM today (Saturday) in the Events Center.  The teams are each 4-3 in conference play.  Binghamton's overall record is 9-11 while Maine is 11-11.

Entering this weekend's competition there is a four-way tie for third place in America East.

New Hampshire leads America East with a record of 7-0 and an overall slate of 17-3.  Hartford, who topped the Bearcats in West Hartford in double overtime earlier this week, holds sole possession of second place at 5-2.

Maine leads the all-time series with Binghamton 18-13.  The Black Bears have won the last seven meetings with the Bearcats.  Today's game will be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
