BU Women Host Black Bears in Early Afternoon Contest
The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team hosts the Maine Black Bears in a 12 noon contest at the Events Center today (Saturday). Binghamton is 12-5 overall and 1-3 in America East. The Black Bears are 7-12 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

All-time in the series between the two teams Maine has a 24-14 advantage. The Black Bears won both meetings between the two last season and have won three straight against the Bearcats. Binghamton's last win over Maine was a 66-62 overtime decision in 2018.
Maine is led in scoring byDar Sarr who is scoring at a 10.9 points per game average. The Bearcats are paced by Kai Moon who is averaging 20.2 points per game. That leads all America East scorers and is 17th in Division I scoring in the country.
Today's game will also be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF beginning at 11:45 AM. It is a BU athletics doubleheader at the Events Center. Following the women's game the Bearcats 'wrestling team host number-four Virginia Tech also at the Events Center.
