The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team is facing a major test this afternoon in Albany at the SEFCU Arena.  BU carries a 2-1 slate into Albany to meet their biggest rival.  The Great Danes are 3-1 in America East and 14-3 overall.  In their last outing the Great Danes beat the Maine Black Bears by 14 points on Saturday.  Albany is 6-1 at home.  The Great Danes lost to Hartford in Albany earlier on the conference slate.  The Bearcats are 11-5 overall and are 5-2 in road games so far this season.

Albany comes in standing in first place in America East after BU topped Hartford on Saturday.  The game features the top two scorers in America East.  Imani Watkins led the Binghamton offense against Hartford with 27 points.  She leads the conference in scoring averaging 21.4 points per game.  Albany's Jessica Fequiere averages 19.4 points a game and ripped the cords for 35 points against Maine.
