The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team looks to up its America East record to 3-0 tonight (Wednesday) when they visit Patrick Gymnasium for a 7 PM contest against the Vermont Catamounts in Burlington, Vermont. Tonight's game will be broadcast on 1360 AM WYOS.  Binghamton has not opened an America East season at 3-0 since 2008.

The Catamounts are 1-1 in America East and 4-10 overall.  Last season the Bearcats won both meetings.  Overall the Catamounts hold a 21-11 advantage in the series.

Binghamton is led by the America East's leading scorer Imani Watkins who is averaging 18.7 points per game.  That is tops among all America East players and ranks 32nd in the nation.  Watkins also paces the conference with 2.7 steals per game.   She has scored 20 or more points in seven games so far this season.

Following tonight's game the Bearcats return home to host the New Hampshire Wildcats on Saturday afternoon at 4 PM.  They remain home to host Albany next Thursday night.
