BU Men’s Lacrosse Set for Opener at Marist

The Binghamton Bearcats men's lacrosse team opens its season on Saturday at noon at Marist.  Kevin McKeown returns for his fourth season as head coach of his alma mater.  The Bearcats face the defending MAAC champions in Marist.  The Red Foxes were 10-7 overall last season.

Appearing on News Radio 1290 WNBF earlier in the week McKeown previewed his team's upcoming season.  After Saturday's opener the Bearcats  travel to Syracuse next Saturday and play their first home game on Saturday, February 22 versus Lafayette.

Binghamton leads the series versus Lafayette 5-4 but after the first five contests were won by Binghamton the Red Foxes have won the last four straight. Defender Dan Mottes is Binghamton's lone captain.
