The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team meets the Hartford Hawks tonight at the Chase Family Arena in West Hartford, Connecticut.  The game is set for a 7 PM start with air at 645 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  Hartford leads the overall series 20-13 and has a 10-5 advantage when playing at the Chase Family Arena.

In the first meeting between the two teams this season the Bearcats downed the Hawks 76-55 at the Events Center.  Marlon Beck paced the offense with 15 points to key the BU victory.

Binghamton is trying to stop a six-game losing streak while the Hawks are 2-8 in their last ten games and have been missing their top-scorer in Jalen Ross who has been sidelined the last three games with an injury.  Ross is averaging over 20 points per game this season.

Following tonight's game the Bearcats return home to host the Maine Black Bears Saturday at 2 PM at the Events Center.  Binghamton will travel for a first round post-season game next Wednesday, March 1.  The Bearcats will face an opponent to be determined from one of three potential foes....Albany, UMBC or New Hampshire.
