The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team plays host to the Sacred Heart Pioneers today (Saturday) at 2 P.M. at the Events Center (air at 1:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Pioneers are members of the Northeast Conference and are 2-3 with one of those wins over Army.  Binghamton is coming off of a 76-68 loss at Colgate on Monday night.

This marks the third meeting between the two schools on the hardwood.  BU won a 51-48 contest last year at Sacred Heart.  The Bearcats came from behind to score the last 11 points in the game to secure the victory.  The other two meetings came at the Division II level when both competed in the New England Collegiate Conference.

In Monday's game versus Colgate the Bearcats had four players score in double figures and were led by 19 points from freshman Sam Sessoms.  Chance Barnard notched a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Next up for the Bearcats is a trip to Army for a Wednesday night game.  Binghamton then returns home to host Hartwick next Saturday at 2 P.M.
