The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team is home on Sunday at 2 PM to host the UMass Lowell River Hawks at the Events Center.  The Bearcats dropped their America East Conference opener at UMBC on Thursday night 85-71.  The River Hawks toppled Albany 85-79 on Thursday as well.  Overall Binghamton has a record of 9-7.  UMass Lowell is 6-9.

The River Hawks lead the all-time series 7-4.  In the last meeting between the two teams last February the Bearcats took an 81-77 decision.  Jahad Thomas is like a human wrecking ball.  There is nothing he can't do in game competition. He leads the River Hawks in points per game average at 16.5 and rebounds with 8.5 per contest.

For the Bearcats Willie Rodriguez is the main man.  Sidelined for seven games and parts of a couple of others with hamstring problems he has struck for double figures in his last three games.
