Following a week off the Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team returns to the Events Center tonight (Thursday) at 7 PM to host the Stony Brook Seawolves.  Stony Brook comes in with a conference slate of 5-7 while the Bearcats are 1-10.

The Seawolves have won their last two games against UMass Lowell and Maine and are in sixth place in America East.  After a solid non-conference start BU has struggled and has posted a 1-10 record in America East.  In a previous meeting on Long Island this season the Seawolves defeated the Bearcats 77-66.  In the all-time series since the teams have competed at the Division I Stony Brook has a 21-16 advantage.

Stony Brook is led in scoring by Akwasi Yeboah who is averaging 15 points per game.  Elijah Olaniyi is the America East Rookie of the Week and is averaging 7.2 points per game.

Binghamton's leading scorer continues to be J.C.Show who is averaging 14.6 points per game.  Thomas Bruce follows in scoring with an 11.5 clip.

Tonight's game will be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  Coverage begins at 6:45 PM.
