The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team had their season come to an end Tuesday night in Albany at SEFCU Area.  The Albany Great Danes topped the Bearcats 71-54 to avenge a BU win at the Events Center last month.  The Bearcats finish a disappointing conference schedule with a record of 2-14 and an overall record of 11-20.

The Great Danes finished their conference schedule at 10-6 and overall 22-9.  Albany heads to the America East Quarterfinal Round with a home game against Stony Brook on Saturday night.  The Great Danes ended the regular season in fourth place in America East.

Senior Willie Rodriguez finished his Bearcat career on a high note.  He led all scorers with 16 points and six rebounds.  Rodriguez had a stellar career for the Bearcats.  Despite nursing injuries for much of his junior season Rodriguez leaves the program with school records for points with 1,391 and rebounds with 654.

Senior Bobby Ahearn also wrapped up his college career with three rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot.  Other Bearcats wrapping up their college careers were Jordan McRae and Dusan Perovic scoring two points each and John Schurman who grabbed a pair of rebounds.
