The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team tackles the University of New Hampshire in Durham Saturday in a 1 PM start (air at 12:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Binghamton leads the series with a 17-15 record but New Hampshire has won the last five meetings between the two teams including a 56-51 victory over the Bearcats last season in an America East quarter-final playoff game.

Binghamton comes into the game with a 9-9 record and is looking for its first conference win of the season.  The Wildcats are 10-6 and 1-1 in America East action.  New Hampshire paces the conference in team defense  giving up 63.6 points per game.  The Wildcats lead the conference in offensive rebounds and are second in free throw shooting with a 75 percent conversion rate.

Tanner Leissner is one of the premier forwards in the conference and is scoring an average of 16.1 points per game.  He is also averaging 8.1 rebounds per game and is making 83 percent of his free throws.  As a team the Wildcats are making 75 percent of their free throws.

For Binghamton Willie Rodriguez is the top gun scoring 12.8 points per game.  Bobby Ahearn is second in team scoring with 8.8 points per game.  Thomas Bruce who scored 13 points in his last outing against Vermont is averaging 7.3 points per game.
