Broome Sports Foundation Holds Memorabilia Auction

The Broome Sports Foundation is holding its memorabilia and collectibles auction at NYSEG Stadium tomorrow (Saturday) night when the Binghamton Rumble Ponies host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at 7:05 PM.  The Foundation will have a display area in the concourse behind home plate.

There will be dozens of items up for bid from various sports and sports standouts. Many are autographed and perfect for sports collectors or as gifts for sports fans. There will be plenty of items from the baseball world as well as from other sports.

The Broome Sports Foundation is comprised of area sports fans who help raise money and funds for outstanding student athletes who wish to further their education after high school.  Money raised from events like this weekend go directly to benefit the Tommy Mitchell Memorial Scholarship Fund.  The Fund was established in memory of Tommy Mitchell, Jr. who was killed in a car crash on his way to a youth hockey game.
