The mini-grants are available for non-profit organizations, community agencies, municipalities and schools.

The Broome Opioid Awareness Council or “BOAC” says last year the funds were awarded to Truth Pharm and the Addiction Center of Broome County and included education and training in the use of the overdose-reversal drug, Narcan.

Grant applications can be found at www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/broome-county.

Successful applicants will be awarded a contract until the end of this year, contingent on successful program performance.  The grant amount range to up to 25-thousand dollars.
