Broome Offices/ DMV Binghamton Office Slowly Reopening
Broome County Government offices are slowly reopening June 22, but many are only by appointment.
Residents with business with the County Clerk, Office For Aging, Real Property Tax Services, and the Office of Employment and Training, for example, should call ahead.
While Binghamton Department of Motor Vehicle office is reopening June 22, joining the Endicott office, which opened last week, expect long lines and some services, like road tests for driver’s licenses may still not be available.
Facilities that remain closed are: the Broome County dog Shelter, the Forum theater, Broome County Office for Aging Senior Centers, Broome County Public Library except for curbside pickup and Willow Point Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
