Broome County DMV To Close Early for Thanksgiving

The Broome County Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has announced an early closure and subsequent closure for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

Per the Broome County Clerk's Office, all Broome County DMV offices will be closing early on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, and they will remain closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 23, 2023.

Broome County offices will remain closed on Friday, November 24, 2023, as well as Saturday, November 25, 2023, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Normal  DMV business hours will resume on Monday, November 27, 2023.

During regular business hours, all DMV offices in Broome County will continue to process transactions until 15 minutes before the posted closing time. However, it is important to note that staff will be available to answer questions and distribute necessary forms until the office is closed.

To streamline the DMV experience and reduce wait times, Broome County has implemented an online appointment booking system. Customers are encouraged to visit the county's official DMV website at https://broomecountyclerk.setmore.com to book an appointment at either the Binghamton or Endicott DMV offices. This online system allows for convenient scheduling, allowing visitors to select the date and time that best suits their needs.

While the DMV offices are closed during the Thanksgiving holiday, residents can still access certain services online.
