The Broome County Sheriff's Office has released its latest arrests and charges report for the first week of February 2025.

As a reminder, this report doesn't encompass all law enforcement activity performed by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office daily, arrests made in Broome County by other law enforcement agencies, or open and ongoing investigations by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force or other law enforcement agencies.

Every accused person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Assault And Menacing

Damian Ortiz of Endicott, New York was charged with Assault in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony, and Menacing in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, following an investigation into a dispute in the Town of Union.

Criminal Contempt

Talon Thomas of Jonesboro, Georgia, was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, following an order of Protection Violation in the Town of Union.

Criminal Possession, Petit Larceny, False Impersonation

Allana Wilson from the Town of Chenango, New York, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor, and False Personation, a Class B Misdemeanor, following a larceny investigation in the Town of Chenango.

DWI and Obstruction of Governmental Administration

Lakarya Johnson of Binghamton, New York was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (1st Offense), a Misdemeanor, and Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, following a traffic stop in the City of Binghamton.
