The former chairman of the board of directors for United Health Services, president of the Broome County Chamber of Commerce and member of several foundations and charitable organizations has passed away.

William “Bill” Rincker had been living in Naples Florida. He passed away June 3 at the age of 86.

Rincker had been named Hospital Trustee of the Year and was given the Broome County Chamber’s Civic Leadership award along with several other honors.

He was well known in the community for decades, beginning with a banking career at Binghamton Savings Bank.

Friends can pay respects June 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Barber Memorial Home on Main Street in Johnson City.
