The Scoreboard bar on State Street in downtown Binghamton has lost its liquor license.

The New York State Liquor Authority issued a revocation order on Thursday. The order was effective immediately.

The agency considered charges against the business and licensee Ty Fish at its December 19 meeting.

Liquor authority spokesman William Crowley told WNBF News the licensee is prohibited from seeking a liquor license in New York State for two years from the revocation date.

Twenty charges had been filed naming Fish and The Scoreboard in connection with underage alcohol sales and permitting the premises to become disorderly.

The business also was accused of violating regulations pertaining to security guards.
