Binghamton University Embraces “The Rewrite”
The Marc Lawrence romantic comedy The Rewrite played to an enthusiastic crowd of nearly 1,200 in a special screening at Binghamton University.
The crowd was treated to an advance look at the latest project by Lawrence, who graduated from SUNY-Binghamton in 1981.
Lawrence wrote and directed The Rewrite, which is set at Binghamton University. Some of the exterior shooting for the movie was done on the Vestal campus.
Several other scenes from around Broome County also are incorporated in the production. Most of the shooting was done on a Long Island campus.
