Binghamton Police Investigate ‘Serious Incident’ on Eldridge Street

Few official details are available but City of Binghamton Police Detectives report a serious incident in the Eldridge Street area that drew heavy police presence overnight February 6.

Authorities were called to the area shortly before midnight.

Four hours later, Detectives were able to confirm an investigation was active in the area and some police remained at the scene.

Officials said, while they could not release more information on the incident, they wanted to assure residents that there was "no danger to the public."
