Binghamton Police Go Social to Find Larceny, Forgery Suspects
Binghamton Police are turning to social media to try to track down suspects in two separate cases over the past few months involving thefts from an automatic teller machine and a liquor store.
Police have posted video on facebook showing two women wanted for a forgery on May 12 at 5:55 p.m. at Colonial Plaza Liquors on West State Street. Both women are black. One is heavy-set, the other medium build. Both appear to be in their 20s. The heavier woman has her hair in braids and was wearing a black top and black leggings and boots. The other woman was wearing a leather jacket with a large white insignia on the back, black and white patterned leggings and black sneakers. She had very shortly cropped hair. Both women had very large gold earrings.
Another posting shows a man using an ATM at the KeyBank branch on Main Street in the City in what is described as a larceny at 3:45 p.m. on April 19th.
The man in the surveillance film is black, appears to be of average build, in his 20s, wearing a black track suit with a white stripe down the arms and legs and has short-cropped black hair, has a short beard and mustache and is wearing dark-rimmed glasses.
