A woman accused in the killing of a West Side Binghamton man in August in a robbery linked to drugs is rejecting an offer for a plea deal that would have carried 20 years in prison.

38 year old Ariana Edwards is charged with felony murder and robbery in the death of 38 year old Michael Thomas whose body was found two weeks after he was killed at his apartment on  Mathers Street August 22.

Bradley Miles, who is also charged in the murder, also rejected a plea deal.

Last month, another charge was lodged against Edwards.  She was indicted on a count of felony intimidating a witness for allegedly sending a handwritten threat to a witness to try to keep them from cooperating in the case.

Miles and Edwards face up to life in prison if convicted.
