The Binghamton Mets defeated the Trenton Thunder this afternoon 5-2 at NYSEG Stadium.  Each team won a pair of games in the four-game series.  The win puts Binghamton 20 games above the .500 mark while the Thunder fall to 46-55.

Greg Peavey was the Mets' starter and winner.  He ups his record to 7-1 as he went seven innings on the mound giving up just one run and four hits.  Offensively, it was the Brian Burgamy show.  He ripped a pair of two-run home runs for four RBI's. Dustin Lawley also blasted a home run for the B-Mets...his team-leading 18th of the season.

Cody Satterwhite pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn his eighth save of the season.  Binghamton heads north to meet the Portland Sea Dogs for three straight games beginning tomorrow night at 7 PM (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).
