Police are looking for the gun-wielding man who made off with cash from a business in Binghamton's First Ward.

Authorities say the heist at the Mirabito Convenience Store at 215 Clinton Street was reported at 6:12 a.m. Thursday.

Investigators say the robber displayed a gun to the store employee. He left with some money.

Detectives say no injuries were reported in the incident. They did not know whether the man drove away from the store or if he fled on foot.

The suspect was described as a white man. He was wearing a dark shirt, jeans and dark shoes.
