Binghamton Business Competition Underway

The City of Binghamton is looking for some bright business ideas.

The Binghamton Business Plan competition, sponsored by the Binghamton Local Development Corporation and Binghamton TRIAD Entrepreneurial Assistance Program is now underway.

Applicants can submit new business or business growth ideas for the chance at getting $5,000 and additional services like legal counsel, office space and accounting services.

Competing businesses must attend a business plan workshop to be held February 24 from 5-8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Binghamton.

Business development plans for the competition must be for locations inside the City of Binghamton.
