Binghamton Bearcats Women at UMBC

The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team visits suburban Baltimore tonight (Wednesday) for a 7:00 P.M. start against the UMBC Retrievers.  The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM with coverage beginning at 6:45.  the Bearcats check in with a conference record of 4-7 and 9-15 overall.  UMBC is 1-9 in America East and 8-15 overall.  Earlier this season the Bearcats topped UMBC 67-45 at the Events Center.  In the overall series BU has a 22-12 advantage.

Rebecca Carmody keys the Bearcats on offense and defense.  Carmody leads the conference in rebounding with 7.9 boards per game.  She is fifth in America East scoring with a 13.4 points per game average.

Binghamton is looking to rebound following a home court loss to New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon.  The Wildcats edged the Bearcats 54-53.  In the Retrievers last game the Maine Black Bears scored a 58-45 win at UMBC.
